Alphaland is a photo essay responding to research by Professor Rowland Atkinson. The work is accompanied by a text, Alpha City published by Verso Books.

The visual testimony of Alphaland highlight the operation of the luxury housing market and how exclusivity has become a key driver of an architectural revolution. The project also documents the social hollowness of many of the surrounding public spaces and streets of Alphaland in a city in which market forces now control space and in which the public sector is increasingly absent from development.
